Brenk Systemplanung GmbH (BRENK) together with a project partner, has prepared the conceptual design for a facility to characterise the radioactive waste to be retrieved from the Asse II mine. In the meantime, BRENK is preparing parts of the design and licensing planning for the entire waste treatment facility and the interim storage facility for the Asse retrieval project.
