The Bruchsal branch office was established in 2010 and handles numerous projects across southern Germany. Some of Bruchsal’s current activities are listed below by way of example:

• licensing procedures and legal aspects relating to radiation protection, nuclear engineering and decommissioning of nuclear facilities
• planning of decommissioning and dismantling projects
• management of materials and waste, clearance pursuant to chapter 3 Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV)
• NORM projects (geothermal energy, oil and gas industry, drinking water suppliers, spas)
• technical controlling
• updating of operations manuals
• provision of radiation protection officers
