Various items of personal data are collected when you use this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. This data protection declaration explains what data we collect and the use to which we put it. It also explains how, and for what purpose, this happens.

We would point out that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. in email communications) may in-volve security vulnerabilities. Data cannot be completely protected from access by third parties.

Cookies

Web pages sometimes use what are known as cookies. Cookies cause no damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files which are saved to your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies” which are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Other cookies remain on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recog-nise your browser next time you visit.

You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to permit cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to accept cookies for specific cases or to reject them by default and to automatically delete cookies when the browser is shut down. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies which are required for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing specific functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Article 6.1(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure technically error-free and optimised provision of his/her services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing browsing habits) are stored, they are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log file

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores the following information in what are known as server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of server request
  • IP adresse

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Article 6.1(f) GDPR, which permits processing for the per-formance of a contract or for precontractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us requests via a contact form, your information from the form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered on the contact form is thus processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6.1(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal notification to us by email is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out prior to revocation is unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain in our possession until you request its erasure, withdraw your consent for storage or the purpose for storing the data ceases to exist (e.g. once your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in par-ticular retention periods, are unaffected.
