Themed “Discover the potential of supercomputers, simulation, and artificial intelligence for your business!”, the GCS Industry Day took place on June 17, 2026, at Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ).

Our colleague Dr. Tobias Hein represented our company at the event and was pleasantly surprised by how many research innovations are already being transferred to the business sector and how the business community can benefit from them. For example, SMEs like ours can develop innovative products and solutions in collaboration with experts from FZJ and, if needed, utilize computing time at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), including consulting services.

Exciting real-world insights into this collaboration were provided by company case studies ranging from the automotive industry to fusion and mechanical engineering.

Of course, we didn’t miss the opportunity to visit JUPITER (https://www.fz-juelich.de/de/jupiter), Europe’s first exascale supercomputer. Very impressive!
