Over the past more than 10 years, the Business Areas “Radiation Protection, Nuclear Engineering and Decommissioning”<\/a> and “Dismantling of Nuclear Facilities, Radiation Protection Measurements and Software Systems”<\/a> have developed further and now cover a broad range of topics with a wide variety of challenges.<\/p>\n

We considered this a good starting point for bundling various topics and the expertise that has grown with time in a new business area, creating the conditions for further growth and the development of new topics without neglecting the existing ones .<\/p>\n

The new Business Area \u201eD<\/u>igitization, A<\/u>pplied Radiation Protection and N<\/u>ORM (DAN)\u201c<\/a> has now been established and focuses on the following topics:<\/p>\n

      • Operator support in licensing and supervisory procedures<\/li>\n
      • Support for authorities<\/li>\n
      • Radioactive waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • NORM, in particular\n

        • Geothermal energy<\/li>\n
        • Contaminated sites and remediation<\/li>\n
        • Radon<\/li>\n
        • Expert activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
